This scientific essay entitled "Historical Archive of the Rubén Darío National Theater: Memory of the Cultural Identity of Nicaragua", deals with the structure and operation of the information unit of the National Theater's archive, whose objective is to safeguard documents for consultation, providing service to users according to research needs. Claudia López Vélez, the person in charge of the National Theater's archive, was personally approached to prepare the essay, and she referred that the structure has a total of 23 funds and 12 sub-funds, which are divided into: artistic fund, production fund, production fund, and production fund.

Each country or region of the world has its own culture, and Nicaraguans try to be at the forefront of technology, which is why it is necessary to implement a technological platform in the Archive of the Rubén Darío National Theater, so that it will allow society to carry out searches and techniques that will allow them to be used by the public.
This is why it is necessary to apply a technological platform in the Archive of the Rubén Darío National Theater, to allow society to perform searches and document management techniques, as well as providing new information services, through the (ICT) being an innovative and efficient source of information available to every user who has the desire and interest to learn about the cultural history of Nicaragua, whether national or foreign.
