The development of the career is coherent with the national conservation and development strategy promoted by state agencies and institutions at the national and regional level; In particular, this program takes into account the development plan of the municipality of León, prepared by the mayor's office, whose guidelines in this area are aimed at increasing production levels and creating rural and urban employment, the rational management of water, soil and forest resources; as well as the conservation and development of the ecosystems of the territory (Informative Magazine of the Agroecology career, Year I Vol. I 2002).
