Genres

This publication will include the following genres:

  • Technical Report: Presents and discusses research and experimental results for practical application. It provides new insights to the reader in a summarized manner, following the specified structure. The maximum length is twelve double-spaced pages.

  • Technical Note: An informative update on the preliminary results of research. It serves as provisional or initial information. The maximum length is eight double-spaced pages.

  • Review or Analysis Article: A short analysis of published work or developments in specific topics related to agricultural sciences, natural resources, and/or forestry. It aims to define the current state of knowledge on a subject, either at a regional or national level, following a chronological or developmental order. Typically, it highlights progress, changes, contradictions, and trends in the topic. The maximum length is twelve double-spaced pages.

  • Forum: A space dedicated to discussion and analysis of key aspects characterizing agricultural and/or forestry systems, presented in a concise and well-supported manner. The maximum length is five double-spaced pages.

  • Communications: Aimed at presenting cases of interest that may serve as a basis for further studies. The maximum length is five double-spaced pages and should include bibliographic references, figures, or tables to support the information.

  • Report: A brief article that provides an overview of the progress made in a research project or work, as well as the initiation or completion of a project within a specific timeframe. It may refer to research stages without detailing the work procedures and future management. The maximum length is five pages.

  • Publication Review: A space dedicated to presenting recent publications, bibliographic reviews, abstracts, and summaries of thesis works. The maximum length is one page.

  • News: General information on training events, meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, and specific aspects of research projects. The maximum length is one page.
