The Portal of Scientific and Literary Journals of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, León, serves as the institutional dissemination platform for research, with the objective of organizing, preserving, disseminating, and internationalizing the intellectual production resulting from the research activities of the various journals of UNAN-León. It is an electronic platform, with open access. Users (authors, readers, reviewers, and the general public) can find downloadable articles at no cost, related to the following areas of knowledge: Sciences and Humanities; Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences; Legal and Social Sciences; Medical and Health Sciences; Chemical Sciences; Economic and Business Sciences; Dental Sciences, as well as contributions from the Regional University Centers (CUR).

These articles are written by researchers, faculty, students from various academic fields within the university, and national and international specialists. The journals are free of charge for authors in terms of the editorial process (review, editing, and publication). Their content is accessible and can be downloaded in various formats (PDF, HTML, XML, ePUB, Viewer). UNAN-León continues to promote the human development of the Nicaraguan people by facilitating open access to Information and Communication Technologies

    Universitas (León), the scientific journal of the UNAN-León, is constituted as the official organ of dissemination of the research of the university by means of electronic and written. Attached, directed and coordinated by Research Department and fulfilling its institutional mission, which promotes, manages and coordinates the dissemination and transfer of the results of research activities carried out by university academics. The journal was created  through Rectorial Agreement No. 4, dated November 16, 2007.

    The Ibero-American Journal of Bioeconomics and Climate Change (REV. IBEROAM. BIOECON. CAMBIO CLIM.) is an online publication with a semi-annual frequency in continuous format, edited since July 2015 and managed by the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua, León (UNAN-León) / Area of Knowledge of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences / Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences Research Center / Bioeconomics and Climate Change Research Unit (CIBYCC).

    The Law Journal  (II Stage) of the Knowledge Area of Legal and Social Sciences of the UNAN-León is a scientific journal now in digital version where the research of its academics and other national and international researchers, specialists or experts in the different areas, are published. branches of law. Until 2017, after 40 years, the journal was reactivated since the Knowledge Area stopped publishing its old Journal of Law and Social Sciences (I Stage – 1962-1977) in which the research or studies of its most emblematic teachers, illustrious jurists and academics who inherited their valuable knowledge from study, research and their own academic and professional experience.
